Re: Alexander
Very interesting...just as long as this doesn't turn into another Herschel type fiasco!

Re: Alexander
Alexander is a durable workhorse but do we want a guy who got mad at Holmgren late last season because he decided to throw for a TD pass late in the last game that cost Alexander the rushing title.
Also how much will and extension for Alexander cost us?"Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn t work hard."

Re: Alexander
I'd say IF this happens are RB situation would finally be stablized. He would can rush the ball 25-30 times a game effectively which something we desperately need. the only other back that might be able to do that is Moore but he's still unproven. Bennet would be able to put up good numbers if he stayed healthy for an entire season but i say that Alexander would still be a better fit

Re: Alexander
We would still have to sign him to a long-term deal...so factor that into the equation.

Re: Alexander
I would be more willing to do an even up swap for the 2 backs because both teams would need to work out new deals for each player.

Re: Alexander
well if the situation is the same w/ Bennet and Alexander where they need to prove themselves to get another contract, then i'd go w/ Alexander cuz if alexander did better than he normally does he'd be a beast. now if bennet did better than he normally does he would have to play the entire season and he would probaly put up the numbers alexander would on a normal season.

Re: Alexander
The asking price for Alexander is a third round pick, thats what the NFL network was reporting. The official Jags web site is denying it though.
A third round pick would be a cheap price. The only question is, how much does he want.
