Re: AJ Hawk may miss opener
I hope Hawk misses the opener, every half step slower they get will be another big play for Adrian, and our offense. 8)

I wouldn't consider him WAY overrated..AJ is dece, but wayyy overrated.
But he does get alot of media hype, that's for sure.
Some stats to munch on:
Greenway (2007) - 105 tackles, 78 solo, 27 assist, 4 passes defended, 2 INT (1 for TD), 2 forced fumbles, 4 recovered
Hawk (2007) - 105 tackles, 78 solo, 27 assist, 1 sack, 4 passes defended, 1 INT
Hawk (2006) - 119 tackles, 82 solo, 37 assist, 3.5 sacks, 6 passes defended, 2 INT
I'm actually surprised to see how close Greenway's stats are to Hawk's.
Personally I'd put him on par with Greenway right now, but keep in mind Greenway is almost a year behind in development.

Huh....they are damn near identicle, wow. are those the real stats?
But, keep in mind, the NFL doesn't compile tackling stats, the individual teams do that.Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

And with that defensive line infront of Greenway, he should continue to be on par with his 'rookie' debut.
I'm actually REALLY excited for Greenway's future.
I just hope he stays healthy and continues to improve.Vegans are eating the rainforests. =(

I would have thought Hawk numbers would have been much better. He plays ILB correct? He is definately overrated if our OLB who never gets mentioned puts up the same numbers as an ILB who is constantly hyped. I like Greenway even more than before, now.

Now its official Aaron Rodgers will be the ugliest player to take the field Monday night.

A.J. Hawk plays WLB if I'm not mistaken, Barnett plays MLB.

I'm pretty sure Greenway and Hawk play the same position.

Right on....I wasn't sure. Still, as good as Hawk suposedly was/is coming out, Greenway put up better numbers in essentially his first year. I think we got a bargain.
