Now we need to hope for Henne or Brohm, preferably Brohm.

I would take Owen Schmitt though
Anderson would cry for joy if we got Schmitt

    Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Either the Jaguars trade made us look good or the Vikings trade made the Jaguars look stupid, I can't figure out which.

People were saying that we gave away too many picks.
But look at the picks that are being swapped today...esp. Carolina giving up their 1st next year.
    We're looking like geniuses.
Also, look at all the boards that had us taking Campbell or Merling...neither of them are off the board as of right now.

These threads are always fun to find the next day.

I agree with Baumy though, the JA deal isn't looking so bad now is it.

Basically they fixed our Pass issues on the first day, got us a kid who could return Punts and are sitting pretty good to move around the board on day two.

As I said in another post.
I believe ole Ricky boy (not the Chiller) will move up once and move down twice which will net us 2 more picks in 2009.
    ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Re: After witnessing this trade...

    Allen is a great trade.
He will give the Vikes two things they have been missing for years.

    1. a DE the caliber of Doleman
    2. a D-lineman with the attitude/mouth of John Randle

Allen is already drawing a target on Rodgers.... I think that is why the Packs took Brohm, who may be seeing playing time in Game 2

    I miss the 1993 D-line

    Doleman 12.5 sacks
    Randle 12.5 sacks
    Thomas 9.0 sacks

The key was all drew double teams.

Great trade if they match or beat these numbers.
