After witnessing this trade...
Aren't you glad we did what we did for Allen?
For those of you who don't know what I mean, I'm talking about the Jaguars trading down that far for Derrick Harvey. They traded a 1st, 2 3'rds, and a 4th for a guy who the commentators called a "reach."
They basically gave up all of their good picks for a guy who hasn't played a down in the NFL and isn't even considered a a sure fire thing.
We basically used our 1st round pick for the real deal and just ended up losing our 3rd round. Look at how much better we came out of this. I look at the Jaguars now and look at what they all gave up for what they got, then I look at us and the deal we did.
Does this Jaguars trade make anyone else feel a little better?

Re: After witnessing this trade...
Exactly what I was thinking, they gave up more than us, and we got a proven pass rusher.
I always thought the Allen trade was a good mood, but this does seem to make it look like an even better deal.
Thanks to PPE for the awesome Sig.

Well Gabe, it's tough to say, but I'm hoping for Sam Baker or maybe Joe Flacco. What I hope for and what they do is a totally different thing.

I figured it would be a steep price to pay to move up from 26 to 9. Some else mention it would take us our thrids and 17 overall to move up to 9. We definitly kicked @ss on this one while getting the NFL sack leader at age 26.

Now we need to hope for Henne or Brohm, preferably Brohm.
I would take Owen Schmitt though
