The only highspot of the entire Vikings vs Buccaneers game (other than that sweet Ponder pass to Harvin in the back of the end zone) was when Peterson broke it for that long touchdown in the third quarter, and I got to see it live. This guy is absolutely amazing and puts on a hell of a game every week. Peterson was THE ONLY ONE deserving of the MVP award this year. Congrats, A.P.

Would loved to see him win Comeback Player of the Year too. Seriously, what he did is in a far different realm compared Manning IMO. Guy was eight yards away from a almost untouchable record in this era of NFL. No to mention, Manning is a QB in this almost untouchable era of NFL.

In the end I figured whoever won Comeback Player of the Year, lost MVP, which was very clear when you watch the presentation.

Ride on AD, can't hate on the drive and inspiration of a individual like himself.

I love that the man is on a mission! During his speech he mentioned that he wanted to win multiple MVP awards but he wanted to win the ultimate team award next with his coach.

No matter what happens in free agency and the draft the anticipation of what AD is going to do next season is going to kill me.

FTFY. And I'll believe it. If Peterson can do this there's no reason to believe we can't
reach the Super Bowl next year.

This is one of those rare times where a player doesn't just earn an award, he DEMANDS it. There was no way that AP was letting this one get away from him.

I just hope he's right about the followup.
