Why did you have to write that?! Now you jinxed it!!

They day anything any single one of us does affects a game.... is the day TV gets way too cool.
I'm pretty sure my noise level at the games last year helped Allen get a couple of those sacks.
Again, I said any ONE of us.... not 70,000 of us .

My focus is that anything we write does not change the athletes playing the game; this board is AWESOME but we don't generally change the game played on the field.

    BUT I appreciate you yelling!
Please. I have any number of superstitions regarding game day activities. Should I forget even one of them, WE ARE DOOMED!

You keep doing that, I'll keep smiling, and we can cheer for the Vikes.

THOUGH I do not watch games without some alcoholic enhancers, can I tell my wife it's superstition??

I thought we should have a tread dedicated to tracking his progress towards his goal of 2,000 yards. I'll be keeping this updated after every game.

    Goal: 2000
    Current: 180
    Needed: 1820
    Games Remaining:15
    Average YPG: 180
    Average YPG Goal: 125
Average YPG in Remaining Games: 121
Projected Weeks to Reach Goal: 12

The numbers will look pretty crazy the first couple weeks but it should stabilize by week 4.
Week 2: Lions (Horrible Run Defense)
Week 3: 49ers (Not that great of a Run Defense)
Week 4: Packers (Forte looked pretty good against their Defense, I think AD will have a good week against them)
The 49ers are the team that showed the rest of the NFL how to load the box against Peterson.

The Packers showed how to go low on him.

I wouldn't consider them great match-ups unless the passing game opens up.
Since Bevell hesitates to call deep plays, and McKinnie can't hold off DE's for long enough anyway, I'm not certain that much will change.
