PHILADELPHIA — Jim Johnson knows one mistake against Adrian Peterson could haunt a guy the rest of his life....
I'm sick of hearing reporters say Peterson is the only reason we are where we are. I understand he's an athletic freak but by no means is he the one reason. A big part sure, but what about the Oline, our Dline and guys like Chester who pick up those critical third downs.

Yea i agree...Peterson had a great year but damn they beat carolina solely because of the defense especially because of Winfield's play. The win against New Orleans was also won because of a Winfield TD, sack, ff, and also a TD pass from Chester to Visanthe. They made it to the playoffs as a team. I hate as a vikings fan to point out anything peterson does wrong but think about it, we beat detroit by 2 the first game with a big part of that being 2 lost fumbles from AP. He also lost a big one vs ATL. I really think this week though that Philly will be trying to strip the ball from him all day and this will play into our favor big time. I'd be surprised if any out-of state reporter has watched more than 2 vikings games.
They look at the box score, read recaps and then create some story from that. Nobody wants to read how our O line executed their zone blocking scheme well (well, some people do) but they love to hear about a runningback who set the all-time single game rushing record in their rookie year.
