Being on top of a list that includes Brown and Sanders is quite an accomplishment. Guy is special and we're fortunate to have him. Now if we could just get him the help he needs.

That would be 2. A 72 yarder vs the Packers in his first career start, and a 65 yarder vs the Packers last year. He has 3 career passes over 50 yards, and just 7 over 40 yards.

And just to drive the point home, AD has single rushes that went for more yards than Ponder has had in entire games.

It's embarrassing to see Ponder compared to a future hall of fame legend; don't you think ?

As great an accomplishment as that is, it's somewhat shocking to think the record is only 12. With how good some backs have been, it seems that should be higher. Just goes to show how much we take AP for granted I suppose.

Without Peterson, Ponder would have been benched last season.

Even so, watching Peterson get shut down for three games shows how little value even one of the greatest running backs of all time is against a defense that has no fear of the passing game.

The dude has been a beast from day one. Let's get a QB to help him out. He earns his pay every week. Let's give him a little support. C'Mon Man!

3 out of his 847 pass attempts had a gain of 60+ yards

None of them went for a touchdown.

He has not thrown a TD pass from outside the redzone since 2011.
