Re: Adrian Peterson needs to follow his blocks -- something the coaching staff is wo
The best way I've heard his running described so far is that he "runs like he'll never touch the ball again."
As long as he's motivated works hard, which he ALWAYS has, he'll be fine.
He wont be ruined by coaching.
I watched that Manimal all through his college years, as I'm a fan of a pair of Big 12 teams (Not Oklahoma, though).
I knew he was money, and not like Bush....AD runs hard and violent and can explode through arm tackles.

I don't like how they changed his style
But you do need to learn how to read a D and not just go off pure athletisim
Sometimes it pays to hit it and hit it hard (whole is there right away), sometimes it pays to let the blocking work a bit (hole isn't there instantly).
Coaches are just working with him on his ability to recognize the difference.
That is what I was trying to get at!!
I worded that way way way wrong
Sometimes he needs to hit the hole like he was last year..
And sometimes last year he was trying to hit it to hard (LOL) and it wasn't the right time
This year I see too much of him trying to wait.. And he needs to hit the hole quicker
He did it with his lone long run this year
That post right there is why you are number 5 on my excel charts
