Re: Adrian Peterson - I Feel Like I'll Be In Camp On Time
I know everyone will say it, but it does not make it any less true ... HE HAS TO BE THERE! We need him to be up to speed and be ready to go when the time comes so that T-Jack has less on his shoulders and the offense can open up with the double-headed attack. Get there A-Pete ... make us Vikes frans proud!

I sure do hope he is there on time.
He's the one who is giving this franchise a little bit of hope.

I just hope he does wait until the healing is complete. I would rather have him take an extra month and be sure than push it a day early and end up reinjuring it and sitting out his whole first year. We still have enough RB's in the stable to hold down the fort while he heals.

Re: Adrian Peterson - I Feel Like I'll Be In Camp On Time
We have the money to get him, and all our draft picks signed. The players are looking to see who's signed and for how much. Last years numbers for the number seven pick, plus a 4% or so increase should give us a good starting place for AP.
We can get a deal done, lets get all the rookies signed and in camp.

It woudl be nice to see all the picks signed by the time training camp rolls around. it would be absolutely imperative. GET EM SIGNED so they can start this thing up.

I don't see it happening, because with the backs we have already and Chili's problem with malcontents, it would make it hard for him to get the reps he wants if he makes a bad "first" impression.
If he wants to be the new star of this offense, he'll humbly accept the offer he's given, then go play his ass off.
Well, in a perfect world that would be the case. I guess we'll see over this next month and a half how this plays out.-Sno

I posted an article awhile back where Peterson said signing a contract wouldn't be an issue.

Top Vikings draft pick Adrian Peterson says he doesn't expect any difficulty reaching a contract agreement, and that once he signs, he'll buy his mother a new house in Texas.
