Let me preface the following comments by saying I love the future prospects of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. I think he is a tremendous talent and will do special things in this league, assuming he stays healthy. But please, can we stop with the best-back-in-the-league talk for a game or two?.....

Adrian is the brightest light, from this team, and the only positive form of news lately. We aren't going to sneak up on anyone with him anymore, and somebody else has to get it going. The only thing out of control is the people who write this stuff, calling him the greatest, and creating all the whoopla. Adrian is just doing what we thought he'd do.

I totally agree. There is no way he is the best RB in the NFL.....yet

He needs to become a more complete player....blocking,catching etc..

He has only played 7 games and people are saying he is better then LT who has dominated for the past 7+ years.

Sports hacks.
We shouldn't be suprised that they are getting off the bus.
Its just the nature of the beast.
They have to always find someting negative to write about or they don't feel content.

Makes ya wonder why we put up with them.
Wonder what would happen if we all refused to read/buy thier drivel for just one month........

Watching that MNF game last night was awfully sickening.

As far as the AP title given too him, I think Baldinger can be the person to blame.
He has covered 2 or 3 of our games and he was the first person I heard going off on AP being the best in the NFL.

All I am saying is he should be writing that story instead of the AD/PJ/AP story.

Yes, Peterson is leading the league in rushing despite splitting carries with veteran Chester Taylor...

So Peterson, who is splitting carries, is leading the league in rushing with 740 yards.
Yet LT, who is NOT splitting carries and has 123 less yards is better because of his last season stats?
What about Peterson's NFL leading 933 yards from scrimmage? or his NFL leading 1257 total all purpose yards?
The only stat LT leads AD in is touchdowns - LT has 7, AP has 6.

LT is an amazing back, but Peterson has earned all of the hype surrounding him.
Don't short change him.

How can they even say this?
I heard that just last night AD raised $2M for cancer research by jumping from the top of the IDS tower to the top of the Foshay tower while talking to his mom on his cell phone.
He doesn't get as much hype as he deserves.
