MANKATO, Minn. — It was only a couple of months ago that Vikings running back Adrian Peterson boldly predicted a 2,000-yard season. But with the start of training camp Friday, he has toned down the rhetoric...

"If at first you don't succeed, parachuting is not for you"

There will be no sophomore slump.
Adrian Peterson is a top 10 NFL Player IMO.
Barring injury (fingers crossed), AD has a legit chance for greatness.
He sets his bar high as an example to the Team, which is the definition of leadership in Team sports.
1,500 yards minimum for AD this year if he's healthy.
    More importantly, 10 wins minimum.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

It was funny how a friend of mine, who happens to be a Puker fan, told me that Adrian Peterson is a stuck up snob who thinks he is better then everyone else. 1st off, If you are going to give that "Stuck Up Snob" to any running back it would have to be LT. When Peterson was asked who people's top 5 fantasy picks should be this year he said: Ladanian Tomlinson, Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Patrick Willis and Terrell Owens.

Adrian Peterson is probably one of thee least stuck up people in the NFL... IMHO. Peterson If available will probably be my 1st, 1st round draft pick.

    AD stuck up?

He's one of the most humble players I've seen.
