    Quick question.

Does the team stay at a local hotel the night before home games?

I believe they did at one time.
Yes, they still do stay at a local hotel. I heard Childress talking about it last week on the radio. I had never heard that before until then when he mentioned it.
I guess AP was running a little late!

I bet your right...I wonder which hotel they stay at near Edina? You'd think they'd be staying downtown, closer to the dome, and nicer hotels.

    Hotels near Edina, MN

This is definitely not a smart thing at all.

Not a huge deal. He is just a kid afterall with a fast car (I have went as fast as 109 in the last year, which was also stupid, but I didn't get caught).

At least he didn't pull any shit with the officer and is just taking care of it.

He should not be "punished" by the team or anything, but should definitely have his eyes opened a littl.

That's not good. 109 mph at 8:30 pm...there have to be quite a few cars on the road at that time of night. Maybe I'm making too much out of this, but I don't like it. Childress must address this and maybe sit him for a quarter...then let him take out his frustrations on the field.

Non issue to me. Now if he was smoking a joint or doing other things while speeding it would be. I doubt he will miss any time for a speeding ticket.

As far as we know from one Twitter update he didn't pull any shit with the officer. I'm going to wait and see for more information to come out.

And, yes, he should be punished by the team. He put himself and other people at risk with his recklessness.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Interesting. Personally, I think that smoking a joint is a helluva lot less dangerous than driving 109 in a 55. Not saying that I would rather he be smoking, just trying to say that downplaying this into just a "speeding ticket" isn't necessarily the right attitude either.

I hope that Childress does sit him for a series on Sunday.

I think they should sit him for the opening series, just to send a message. I know this isn't the same as Koren Robinson speeding at a high speed with a suspended liscense and impaired but still Peterson is a leader/focal point on the team and needs to be a little smarter.
