I bet that Minnesota will be one of the more highly sought after HC jobs considering the talent we have everywhere BUT QB...

    like 2005-2006
I actually like our squad today better than the one we had in 2005.
We are literally one position away from greatness...
Disagree .WR? CB (Grifffin)? TE? . And of course Qb ,you got that rite

WR is not bad, especially with Rice and AA.
TE sucks, but I think TE is more of a footnote than a key component.
A decent QB would put us over the top.
And I think that every potential HC knows that...

    Re: Adrian Peterson

If I was AD, I would wonder in the 14 3rd down situations, they only call one run play and that was to CT.

AD only averaged 5.5 yards per carry.
Might even get more if the D was looking for a pass.
Why would they be looking for a pass?
Because the coaches called 13 pass plays on 3rd down!

AD would have gotten more than the TWO TJ did.
Yes! 2 of 14 on third down conversions by passing .
There was one made by penalty too, but I won't count it as a TJ 1st down.

Give the rock to the best player on the Vikes, the best RB, and at least the top 5 in the league.
Don't put it into the hands of the 10 best offensive starter on the Vikes, only Shank sucks more.

If I was AD I would consider the play calling a insult.

    TE?
    Shank sucks.
Mills seems to be doing OK, and Klienny caught a pass for 12 yards.

Are you joking? It's all Childress' fault! He's simply holding the WB back from making the big hydration plays when the team needs it!

I agree with you on the talent and that is what pisses me off.

We came out in 2006 and went what, 4-3 in the first 6 games. Then went to hell in a handbasket. Of course in those days you couldn't question the coaches because obviously there was no talent. All we needed to do was give Chilly a year or two and he would put together a team that would compete for a title every year. ;D

Cowher would be perfect for the Vikings, we are very similar to the recent Steelers Super Bowl team, but i dont think we will land him, Kiffin will be a good fit though.
    Kiffin?
I'm not sure I agree with that.
He doesn't have control of his squad now.
I would personally like to bring in Schotty if we were to go with a different HC.
