Adrian Peterson
In my mind, we better figure out this QB/Coach situation quickly and start winning some ball games otherwise I think that All Day is going to be so fed up with this team that after his contract is up, he won't think about resigning.
This is inexcusable to have this awful of a coach and QB.
I guess that is what you should expect though when you move up to get a guy in the second round from a D-AA school.

Re: Adrian Peterson
It's a little early to start talking about Peterson going to other teams.
Peterson signed a six year contract last year.
He is with the Vikings through 2012.
My guess is if we dont figure it out by then, we will have a different coach and QB.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Adrian Peterson
They are wasting his talents by keeping a stubborn coach and a average QB.

I bet that Minnesota will be one of the more highly sought after HC jobs considering the talent we have everywhere BUT QB...Zeus wrote:

Re: Adrian Peterson
Even though Peterson's with the team for six years... I still think the team should take account of how it feels to be such an exemplary talent on such an underachieving offence. I would like to think that with someone of Peterson's skills we would be looking to make him feel comfortable, valuable and properly utilised. So that when his six years are up he'll at least give consideration to remaining a Viking.

Re: Adrian Peterson
id love to see Cowher but i dont like bringing in a head coach so much only for the fact that it takes like 2 yeras for everyone to understand the schemes i wanna win now and we got the talent

Re: Adrian Peterson
Cowher would be perfect for the Vikings, we are very similar to the recent Steelers Super Bowl team, but i dont think we will land him, Kiffin will be a good fit though.

We are literally one position away from greatness...Zeus wrote:
