    ADIOS LINNEHAN

KFAN is now reporting that Scott Linnehan has taken a job with Miami. Oh well. I think we'll see that his "coordination" skills aren't as good as his surrounding personel. Just my .02.

There ends an era. I'm not upset. :salute:

Yeah!!!!!!!!! Now we need some O coordinator possibilities. I know the jets O-coordinator just resigned or was fired. He wouldn't be afraid to run the ball.

Vikings offensive coordinator Scott Linehan accepted a similar position today with the Miami Dolphins, ending a quick but intense courtship.

The deal will be finalized later today and should be announced no later than Thursday. Linehan was scheduled to interview Thursday with Jacksonville but will cancel that visit.

"The situation in Minnesota is what it is right now," Linehan said by phone. "So I pursued some other avenues. I just felt like the commitment here was the best."

Let's just draft the entire Oregon State team while we are at it. :thumbright:

DAMN! I liked Linehan, unlike most of you! He had a good repore (sp?) with Daunte and we had a top 5 offense with him. DAMN!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

 Seriously, all I'm saying is if Gus is gone, Derek Anderson may still be available at 18.

I think I will wait and see who our new OC is and how he does before I decide if I'm upset or not.

I also liked Linehan, and if the new guy screws up this offense I will be pissed.

I thought he was supposed to be one of the top QB prospects?
