No thanks, that is a curse. Don't want anything happening to him again to cause him to miss significant time. Let RJoke3 get it, and see if he can break the curse.

Umm.. Calvin Johnson had it last year. Not only did he play all 16 games, he set an all-time record for receiving yardage.

Actually if you think about it... there were two cover athletes last season. Ray Lewis and Calvin Johnson. Calvin made the cover but the videos and talking was done by ray, who missed half the season and had a terrible year (except his team won the superbowl despite him). Same thing happened with Fitz and Polu.. Fitz had an ok season.... Polu still hasn't returned to the field.

So you're saying Ray was a 'cover athlete', despite not being on the cover?
    Ok.

And won the superbowl despite him?

Go ahead and check who had the most tackles in the playoffs. It was ray, and by a wide margin. 51 tackles in 4 games. That's a whole bunch of tackles.

I don't care about him. To much crap has gone on with players on the cover of that damn game. The Vikings are cursed enough, why add to it?

Then it would be a double negative & therefore be a positive.

I'd rather not take that chance. At least not with AD.

I, for one, will be voting for RGIII. Repeatedly.
