Rock, my commie friend, I have to point out that you Pack fans have quite the few that have green goggles on, as much as there are people here with purple ones on.
    So, yeah.

WOAH now ... 3 points doesn't mean anything against those teams honestly. I am somewhat impressed by the win over the Lions because I think they are better than most think ... but the Browns are just garbage. If we had played the Browns any week other than week one ... they would have been shutout, but we had the jitters and they had the upset hopes because they did not know how bad they sucked yet.

Simply put ... Woodson reinvented himself the last few years and is truly a great corner, one of the all-time greats. Al Harris is garbage. He lives off his reputation from previous years when he actually was decent. OK, garbage is a little off ... but he is not any better than Griffin or Winny and how many people every mention Griffin?

Kampman pretty much does suck in this defense. Rajii is a bad ass though. But the way our line has adjusted to pass blocking ... I am not worried in the SLIGHTEST about you guys the way I promise your coaches are worried about Jared Allen.

I personally think we are going to kick the crap out of the Packers. That does not mean I am wearing purple-tinted glasses ... it is just what I think. I have though the Vikings were going to win all but one week this season and have been right all seven weeks. Does that mean that I wear purple-tinted glasses? Nope. Means we have a good fucking team and almost anyone can see it. The Packers have a solid team, but we have the match-ups on this.

We are stronger on the O-Line and at RB. At best it is a push at QB and WR.

We are stronger on the defensive line and probably at LB. You probably have an edge in the secondary, but I like our match-ups against your WRs (Jennings is worrisome).

I personally think we are as good at coach if not better, but both sides suffer from questionable play calling quite often.

No, it is not "purple-tinted glasses" ... it is flat the way I see it.

Yes, I am fucking serious, Vikings 34, Packers 17

I'm not pointing out anyone with purple goggles..
I'm just saying there ARE fans of both teams, and on both our respective forums, that wear their teams colors' goggles.

Re: 9 Reasons why the Packers will win: By adam schein

    Regarding Greg Jennings:

    The guy is good!
    Just not against Minnesota.

In all 7 starts against the Vikings in his career, Jennings has 305 yards and 1 TD, total. Averaged out, we're talking 43.5 yards and 0.14 TD's per game.

By the same standard, if the Vikings are supposed to be worried about containing Jennings, then the Packers should be building camoflauged underground bunkers for when Sidney Rice approaches Green Bay city (village) limits.

Taking the field 4 times against Green Bay, Rice has a total of 179 yards and 4 TD's
Granted, Rice's yardage is only 44.75 per game (still a little better than uber-threat Jennings though, right??), but he's averaging a TD per game. Moreover, Rice wasn't even a full-time starter until this year, and he's got Jennings beat on both yards and touchdowns so far this season. And he was going up against the legendary trio Harris, Collins, and Woodson.

My point is that, while Jennings is a good ball player, he's never been great against our D, and there's really no reason to believe, nor solid argument to be had, that he will be tearing us to shreds...ever. Really hope I'm not testing fate here, but the dude's on par to get his next TD against the Vikings in MIN-GB Matchup #2 of the 2012-2013 season.

I think they're forgetting we're considerably better at RB, OL, DL and LBs...

    QB: So far, about equal
RB: as if I need to explain this one
    OL: Us
TE: Us (although they think Finley is the next Kellen Winslow, he's not)
WR: Them, but with the way Rodgers has been playing lately (not able to get the deep game going), Rice is starting to look pretty damn attractive
    DL: Us
    LB's: Wash
    CB: Them
    S: Them (when they're healthy)
    K/P: Us

One reason why the Vikings will win: Brett Favre.

    We're bringing purple back.
