49ers Playing for Pride/Nothing To Lose

To me can be one of the biggest road game dangers there is in this League. We better not take them lightly. Natural grass (Slower Conditions) for the Runners. Travel (Long Distance) issues coming out west with time change...and not respecting a team like this can add up to trouble. The Vikings have played some great games out here in SF....and laid a few eggs too. I will be at the game and I am thinking we should win this one handily. Then again??? Any Given Sunday.....I hope the team comes out fired up and never lets Alex Smith or Gore even get started. Our defense should have a big day....GO VIKINGS!

Got to take it serious...we need all the NFC games to be wins!

Me too happy....I have seen some real nail-biters out here at Candlestick over the years. We have won some big games over S.F. like in 84 (Only to go on and lose to the Redskins ) but we have also gotten thrashed out here and even lost a game I thought for sure we had won when Steve Young took off and ran for a TD at the end of the game....What a BUMMER that was.

I know this is not the same great 49er team like we saw in the 80s with Montana and Young but for some reason we have had some problems beating these guys in key game matchups. Hope the I see a great Vikings away game win here.

i was dreading the chargers game like no other

i was looking forward to the packers game.. but nervous

i was really nervous about the raiders game.

i wasnt nervous for the giants game at all for some reason

i was excited extremelly for the lions game. just wanted to watch them go.. and go they did

i'm getting the same excitement for the niners game

trap game or not.. i think we just keep the same offensive game plan and pound it to the niners to put us out at 7-6

We can't lose, take a look at the sig.
When Norris has you in the sights, Vikings can't lose.

With a team that's already down like the 49ers are right now, you have got to start off by putting your foot on their jugular, and keeping that angle for the whole game. You do everything you can to get a lead and keep the lead. Every team in the NFL is capable of beating us. We have to go out there and earn every victory.

Huge game! Hoping our defense plays to par and our offense plays like they did against the Lions. Childress has to stress the fact that this is going to be a hard fought game and will not be handed to them.
