$40? Are you KIDDING me???
Does anyone else find it outrageous that the Vikings are going to charge $40 for a gameday parking spot in one of their "tailgate" lots?

40 bucks is outrageous for a spot to park your car for a 3 hour football game.
More and more people are taking the light rail in because they don't want to pay the parking fees. At least there are options -- you don't HAVE to pay it if you don't want to.
My guess is the 40.00 lot will STILL be overflowing and they will be turning people away though.....the place where I always park is 20.00 at the Washington/Portland lot by Matty B's....at least it was last year."SHOOT EM JIMMY!!"

I am willing to pay that for the tailgate experience.
I have never tailgated at the dome. It is a lot but people will pay. It saves me from carrying a lot of stuff. I would rather drink a 12 pack before I go in. When i do not tailgate I spend more than that on beer inside.
