    I have to take part of the blame because the games we win are the ones I don't watch. They're either not televised, or I don't go to a bar to watch them... and we win.

    It's funny though, all Giants games I watch, they win... it's a cruel joke I tell ya.

    Take one for the team this Sunday and don't kick the skank out of your apartment too early.

    Re: 4 of our next 5 games are away.

    Lets take a look at our schedule first...

    @Tampa Bay
    @Jacksonville
    Chicago
    @Detroit
    @Arizona
    Atlanta
    New York G-men

    First of all, there is no such thing as an easy game (us Vikings fans all know that too well) but we need to root for the Giants to keep winning.
    It knocks down those other teams in the NFC East and gives a higher chance that they rest their starters in the last week of the season.

    Second point is that a lot of people are saying that this trip to Florida is a big one...
    Yes that it is, and I am all for the one game at a time approach but the biggest stretch of the season is going to be the four games that we play starting with Chicago and ending with Atlanta.
    After we beat the Bears in the Thunderdome,
    we must hope for one loss from Chicago against either Green Bay or Detroit, in case we are tied at the end of the season.
    The Bears are currently 3-0 in the division and we are 2-2.

    Currently in the conference standings, we are 4-2 compared to the Bears 4-3.
    If we can win out in the NFC, we are definitely in.
    But looking at Chicago's remaining schedule, they don't play many top tier teams (GBx2, StL, Jax, NO, Min, Hou).

    Anyways, sorry lots of rambling, but I see it playing out as follows...

    I see us ending the season at 10-6, with our two losses coming to one of the Florida teams and Arizona.
    Chicago I believe ends up 10-6 also, with losses to us and GB.
    Hopefully they drop another game but I'm trying to be realistic.
    In this scenario, we will go to the playoffs.

    Maybe I am being too optimistic and getting my hopes up, but it seems like our year to get back to playing in January.
    Lets put it together and finish up strong.

    SKOL!

    I'll try... but have you ever tried carrying out a conversation with one of them?

    The Falcons and Giants in the Dome to end the season will not be easy, but both are winnable games ... and I will take my chances at home. The Giants will have little to play for by then, but even if they did, we would have a shot in the dome.
    Bottom line is we come through these games 3-2 and get to 8-6 and I think we are at least a game up on Chicago with two to play.
    If we can get through these games 4-1 (losing only to Arizona, Tampa or Jacksonville) then we are in GREAT shape at 9-5 and may even be battling for a bye.
    we haven't beaten the giants in the dome since before 2000.
    ever since that 41-0 blowout they've had our number every year in the dome, we've only beaten them on the road.
    The next year we pummeled them at the dome.
    I think Moss had three touchdowns if I remember correctly and we won by like 16.
    I don't think we've lost to them at all since then have we?
    really?
    i just remember they had our number for a while.
    remember we went 6-0 and our first lost was to the giants at home, and every year after that.

    I'm pretty sure we've lost to the Giants the last two times we played them at the dome.

    Here is for the people who don't have the time to look it up. I only included home games after the 41-0 loss in the playoffs @ NY.

    2000 Playoffs @ NYG L 41-0
    2001 @ MIN W 28-16
    2002 @ MIN L 27-20
    2003 @ MIN L 29-17
    2004 @ MIN L 34-13
