3rd wide reciever
Okay, our starting two wide recievers are pretty much set. So who in your opinion should be our starting 3rd WR? Should we go with Nate Burleson, Kelly Campbell, Keenan Howry, one of our undrafteds, or another free agent? My personal vote goes for Nate Burleson, as I feel he is the most polished and reliable of our recievers, although I don't think it would hurt us to go with Campbell. What do you guys think?
Faster than a speeding Grady Jackson! More powerful than a Nick Barnett! Able to leap Ahmad Carroll in a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It s a bird! It s a plane! It s Jermaine Wiggins!

3rd wide reciever
billvike, please... if hosack is so great, why did no one draft him? don't give me that "deep draft for wide recievers" crap either. it was not 7 rounds deep for cripes sake. if he makes the team, i'll crap in my pants.
burleson is poised to have a breakout year as a third wide reciever. has the hands, body, and route running needed as a 3rd. campbell will be great as a 4th with his blazing speed, but being a little guy, will never be any more than a 3rd wide out"ted nugent called. he wants his shirt back."-george clooney, ocean s eleven

3rd wide reciever
Before the draft, that year, there is a Bears fan at the counter at work, that watched Burleson play (he is REALLY into college football..makes good money with it.) and was saying "Wow, someone needs to draft this guy"...glad I got to tell him it was us. Personally, who is number 3 seems to me, to depend on, do we need burner deep or possesion. I hope that is our most pressing problem this year on offense. =). I would love to see Burleson, but Campbells is fun, I love the deep ball. Hope the experience gained last year shows up BIG for both of them.

3rd wide reciever
With the Vikings using a two tight end set a third wide reciever might be a mute point. As long as Kliensasser is playing he is a good reciever and should be used in the slot.
can we clone Bud Grant?

3rd wide reciever
I would have to say Nate Burleson deserves the number three slot with Kelly Campbell coming in and taking over some slot situations. Burleson has great hands and he reminds me of a young Anthony Carter!! I think in a couple of years he is going to be a great receiver, that is if he's given a chance.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

3rd wide reciever
i think by the time robinsons contract is up, burleson will be ready to step up to #2. campbell will then be an ideal #3.

3rd wide reciever
First off that deep recievers in the draft thing isnt crap!!! He isnt and wasnt a stand out like a Roy Williams or Larry Fitzgerald, If he doesnt make the vikings i think, i would be a big mistake on the vikings part. He's a possesion reciever, hes tall and lanky good size he might not have the moss speed but throw it up there he could come down with it, im not going to start a fight we'll just see.

3rd wide reciever
Burleson should play #3 for us, and Campell should come in on deep passing situations.
