What have the Vikings learned since the end of last season? The "improved" aerial game is 2 for 7, with 16 yards, at the half. This is ridiculous. I am turning the television off.

New year....same team....same Q/B.....same terrible throws.... same ints when game is on the line....= another loss.
At least alot of his incompletions were downfield and it was not 34-0 so thats an improvement

Tarvaris Jackson will have a solid game.
    Not making any costly mistakes.

    2.
Brad Childress will prove that he is a capable coach.
He will utilize A.D. out of the backfield to catch some screen passes, and short routes.
He is going to get the ball into the hands of his playmakers.
I don't see a game where A.D. has 112 yards at the half and only a couple of touches the rest of the game.

    3.
Our front 4 is going to dominate the line of scrimmage and force the Packer to make numerous mistakes.
Aaron Rodgers will be wishing that Brett Favre was back under center.

Sure there are many other things that need to happen to ensure a Viking victory, but these 3 stand out.
Add in the fact that Brooks Bollinger and Troy Williamson are both gone and it is a lock.
Gee, you are 0 for 3..

The Queens were pathetic in every phase of the game.

I am not sure. That is the problem; after all the preparation off-season, after all the money spent by ownership, after all the personnel changes, and after all the anticipation, we just don't know about this team. The Packers are good, no doubt about it, and they have played surprisingly tough (not unlike the Bears against the Colts yesterday). Having said that, the Vikings didn't show anything that puts them at the same level as the Colts, either. After tonight I can say this: except for a few disastrous mental lapses (by special teams, and by that still wretched secondary) the Vikings could have won tonight (oh, there it is, the TJ interception!). The next two games (Colts and Panthers) will tell us plenty about the team, but one thing is clear: if Ziggy Wilf thought that he had a team that was going to win him a championship sooner rather than later, he was mistaken. This team could have a reasonably successful year, with its share of moments to remember, but the guys out there tonight aren't going to win the division, let alone the Super Bowl.

Jackson has not played in 2-1/2 weeks & the lack of him not getting some play time in the last preseason game will hurt us.

People claim that practice with the starters is all he needs, but I wonder.

Exactly what kind of game is elite veterans QB Peyton Manning having with just having had practice this offseason?
