Thread: 2012 Season Record Predictions

Six and Ten...enough said.....

8-8, with the easy schedule we can do it.We'll figure out how to hold on to some of those leads we pissed away in second halves last season.I think we're gonna get some help from our rooks and F.A signings.

My prediction is 5-11. I think we are a year away from contending for the playoffs, but we are young and will have some growing pains this year. We need a year for the o-line to gel, and Ponder to get used to his new WR.

Simpson? If you assume that Harvin-Simpson-Jenkins are the top 3 going into the year that leaves a battle between these dudes:
-Aromashadu
-Arceneaux
-Kris Adams
-Bryan Walters
-Jarius Wright
-Greg Childs
-Kerry Taylor
-Stephen Burton
-Kamar Jordan

I would guess it will be two of these three: Aromashadu/Wright/Childs. There is a lot of competition/bodies (I count 12) on the roster though and someone could surprise.

Damn.... Looks like 4 wins this season... I think we will be closer to 5 or 6 shocking somebody... -1 game for Frazier and -1 game for loosing to a team we shouldn't.... 5 wins

4-12. Third overall pick next year. This division is a beast. Unless we pick up a win at the end of the season in garbage time I see 0-6 divisional record. Just want to see the young players develop and Adrian come back strong and stay healthy. We'll get there...

5 or 6 wins, I can't decide. We're going to have a really ugly second half of the season, with St Louis being the only game I have any confidence about, making the end result of 5-11 or 6-10 even worse than it really was.

Safer bet? 5-11, but 6 wins is possible.

week 2 @Indy - W -We beat the smack out of Luck.
week 3 SF -L - The games a lot close than people think. However, our problem covering TEs are back.
week 4 @Det - L - Megatron and his boys come to play
week 5 Ten -L- Johnson owns us. Ponder gets hurt.
week 6 @Was -W- A win with Webb starting
week 7 Ari -L- Close game but we lose by a FG.
week 8 TB -L- One of those games we should win but we do not.
week 9 @Sea -W- Poison pill still beats them.
week 10 Det L - Peterson does his best Optimus prime impression.
week 11-bye-
week 12 @Chi -L- We still have issues with the pass. Fans finally realize its the scheme.
week 13 @GB L - Rodgers is near perfect against us. Calls to have Fraiser fired are starting to get answered.
week 14 Chi L - Tice is rocking the pencil in the ear and smirking..we aren't
week 15 @Stl -W- Team with only a young QB and RB to on offense...sounds like us.
week 16 @Hou -L- Foster is contained, the RB we should have drafted instead of Gerhart is not.
week 17 GB L - We lose to GB resting their players.

Did you already do the drinking? Missed a win there ... you got 4-12.

I personally think we go 6-10 ... but would not be shocked anywhere from 3-13 to 8-8.

There were actually more than just Marrdro who thought we'd do quite well last season. Only a small number of us thought less than 8-8 was more likely.

Is he ever right? Anyone who thinks this team will be over 500 is crazy.
