When I first saw the schedule the first thing I noticed was the brutal after the bye part. Great we get two weeks to prepare for division foes, but c'mon at Chitown, at cheesedickland, and then home to chitown and then we finish the season against Houston who will be pretty damn good and home to the cheesedicks (who will be playing for something after the way last years team fell apart in the playoffs due to resting players in the final week). The schedule makers did us no favors to end the season
I'm predicting a long year....

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Green Bay will probably have a playoff spot locked up, but I doubt they will make the same mistake they did last year by resting key players again.
With that said, I'm with NP & feel GB will trounce us in that game.
Not only will it be a dismal end to the Vikings season, but possibly the Vikings last game at the dome & the last game of the Vikings in Minnesota.Last edited by singersp; 04-18-2012 at 06:17 AM.

Love the schedule. Opening at home against a weak opponent is huge, gives us a chance to build momentum for the season.
Weak two against the colts is the perfect time for a road trip, pretty sure I'll be going. Still hope for the season, facing a weak team. Great stadium, and similar to what the Vikings hope to build.
Week 5 brings the nashville norseman, who were great hosts when a bunch of us went down to Nashville for a game. Time to repay the favor.
I like how there are no big blocks of road games, or home games.
I also like how most of the division games are late in the season. These are most likely losses, but hopefully we can still have a sliver of hope until week 12 or so.
