Why just the Wilf era. You were asking about productive players that were drafted outside of the first round. I gave you a list showing several productive players who were drafted outside of the first round & were productive for the Vikings. The fact that they aren't on the roster today is moot.
Can you tell me outside of Kalil how many of those draft picks will still be on the Vikings & productive 6 years from now? You can't. You are only looking at the first year of the 2012 draft class.

BTW. Nice edit changing the 10 to 20.
Why just the Wilf era? because I am only looking at what the team has done since he took over and also how Spielman has done and the rest of the past 20 years does nothing for that.
I don't feel the FO has done a good job after the first round in finding starting caliber players in the Wilf era. I do think this year was much better and hope that continues to be the case. 1992 means dick in relation to that.

LOL!
Just because they aren't on the team anymore doesn't mean they weren't solid contributors when they were here. You're comparing apples and oranges. Some of them had a good year then fizzled. Some were replaced by even better players & some where lost to FA, all of which could happen to this years draft class (see Childs)
Six years from now you might not see a single player from the 2012 draft class on our team, which would then in your eyes means the draft was bad afterall since they are not with the team.
If we lose a star player from the 2012 draft to FA or ACL tears 4 years from now, I'm not going to pretend that drafting him in the first place meant squat & he was a bust.

Look- If you are impressed with draft picks that either never start of end up on another roster after a few years then I have no way to debate that. I am not and could care less about that type of pick. If taking players that don't end up on our roster for an extended period of time is what you call success then that is your choice but it isn't what I am looking for.
