    Yup.
I almost expect that to turn into a Sunday Afternoon game.
Here are the other games scheduled for that week:

Thursday, Nov. 27 Tennessee Titans at Detroit Lions 12:30 p.m. CBS
Thursday, Nov. 27 Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys 4:15 p.m. FOX
Thursday, Nov. 27 Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles 8:15 p.m. NFLN
Sunday, Nov. 30 Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots 1 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns 1 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals 1 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 Denver Broncos at New York Jets 1 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 Miami Dolphins at St. Louis Rams 1 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. FOX
Sunday, Nov. 30 Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers 1 p.m. FOX
Sunday, Nov. 30 New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1 p.m. FOX
Sunday, Nov. 30 New York Giants at Washington Redskins 1 p.m. FOX
Sunday, Nov. 30 Atlanta Falcons at San Diego Chargers 4:05 p.m. FOX
Sunday, Nov. 30 Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders 4:15 p.m. CBS
Sunday, Nov. 30 Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings 8:15 p.m. NBC
Monday, Dec. 1 Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans 8:30 p.m. ESPN
    * Sunday night games in Weeks 11-16 subject to change

I could see the Steelers - Pats game bumping us.
    I can't.
    Steelers-Pats is a CBS game.
Bears-Vikings MUST be a FOX game.
So, if you switch it out, CBS loses net 1 game.
    I don't see that happening.

    =Z=
I dont' know if that matters actually.
But each network gets to protect a game each week (except week 17), and the Pats-Steelers game is pretty much guaranteed to be protected.
Fox will almost certainly protect the Redskins-Giants game.

So that leaves the Colts-Browns, Ravens-Bengals, Panthers-Packers, and Broncos-Jets as the most likely candidates, in my opinion.
Honestly, I think that AD and the Vikes in a division matchup has as good a chance of any of those to be an intriguing matchup late in the year.
When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

I believe each network gets to "protect" 1 game that can't be flexed out of their schedule.

BTW the Bears are schedule for 5 prime time games

Yes, but 61 days is two months.

I'm all up on the protection rules - and my speculation is just that, speculation.
But I can't see CBS losing a game and not getting one back without compensation.

    Re: 2008 Vikings Schedule

As others have stated we don't have a gruesome winter schedule which is all good considering our record outside in Dec since 1999.
Something like 14 losses in 16 games in December outside since then.
In any case the schedule is not going to be easy IMO.
The Vikings better have there shit together come game time, because they will need it.
Somebody said 11-5 early in the post.....I'm not seeing it myself.
    Please indulge.
