2006 Vikings Base Salaries
I found this kinda interesting. Out of all the players on the team I think I am most surprised at how much Jimmy K. is making. Dont get me wrong he is my favorite player but I think he is really getting overpaid.

Re: 2006 Vikings Base Salaries
Even more of a surprise is Antoine Winfield is the highest paid player on the team.

This is similar to anoth thread that was up a few weeks ago. Bottom line, it is interesting, but simply does not paint an accurate picture of the player's worth.A look at the unguaranteed portion of Vikings player salaries for 2006. While this doesn't include signing bonus money, the guaranteed part of contracts, it might help in deciphering close races for roster spots at training camp.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: 2006 Vikings Base Salaries
This is an interesting list to look at ... while I knew Birk and Winfield were the top paid SALARY players, we have to remember that bonuses are not included into this mix (explaining Hutch's low number). A lot of money in the NFL is given in bonuses ... even Winfield has a pretty penny more due to his bonus ... It will be interesting to see how we deal with the highly underpaid McKinnie in the future and the apparently highly overpaid Napo.
