A 16 hour flight is unusual.

I know of a liquor store close to the dome, I think it's Depot Liquor on the corner of Washington Avenue and 11th Avenue.
The people in your hotel may know of one closer.
If you're going tailgating bring enough beer for yourself, and maybe some to share..., same thing if you bring food.
Someone there will likely have a grill if you want to grill some bratwursts, they'll probably have condiments too - don't be afraid to ask, they're nice people.
If you're staying near the dome either take a cab or light rail to Rapid Park.

    Have a blast !!
Haha, yeah you might think so, but i switch planes in both philly and chicago airport so include
some 3,5 hours in the traveltime. It was either that or wait on philly airport for 5 hours. This way im kept busy and i arrive earlier. Its a budgetflight i guess, (US airways) and it came out the cheapest.

Im gonna try to show up early at the tailgating but wont promise anything. The plaza is all set so ill be there whatever happens. thanks for the tips.

Wow dekay we look forward to seeing you there.
I would highly recommend going a little early and making your way to Rapid Park for tailgating.
It looks like some PP.Oer's will be there..., just look for webby's PP.O banner.
It sounds like the tailgaters may even be meeting up at the Wheel of Fortune after tailgating.

Will you be taking light rail downtown or driving?

Ofcourse I would like to do both. But since Im going to travel in a airplane for 16 hours im pretty sure im gonna be sloched on sunday. Im staying pretty near the dome so i will walk and just enjoy being in vikingscountry

And I would like to meet as many PP.Oers as possible. All have been very friendly here and im overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness.

But OK, so if im all happy happy joy joy on sunday morning jetlagged on the right side of it and im awake at say mornishtime. What exactly am i supposed to bring at a tailgateparty? is there anywheer i can buy beer? meat or what to bring, i havent been on a tailgate before so it beats me.

You can't buy liquor on Sundays in Minnesota.

So, where the F is "RapidPark"?
The link under the Events part of the site is self-referential.

Tried that - didn't find much.
    Maybe it was my phraseology.

Would be nice, however, if the actual link on this site to the tail-gating said where it was.
I bet that would help the turnout.

Maybe someone like Webby or Singer, who goes there frequently, could make up and post a map or something on this site.....All I remember was it's a parking lot in the middle of nowwhere, surrounded by buildings and highways....But the place did rock, and I had a blast...Only thing is, it was freezing that day and I didn't dress warm enough for it.....Problem #2....I had more beer than hard stuff... :

Man.. I'm here sitting in the hotel lobby waiting to go do something. The rest of my family went to church so i'm stuck in the hotel not able to go anywhere. I would have tried to make the tailgating but it looks like that's not gonna happen. Where exactly is the plaza? I'll try my best to go to that.

Not 100% positive ... but I think right outside the dome.
Look for a Wheel of Fortune thing, sounded like some are meeting there before going in for the game.
