A card game? No, not under those circumstances, it depends what's at stake.

Take this for example. Last year the 15th Pick was Derrick Johnson. The 21'st was Matt Jones. That's how much of a difference 6 picks makes.

I kinda wanna end the season on a good note...

But if we are playing our back ups and just "happen" to lose.. I won't really care!

    WEDNESDAY NOTES
    * The Vikings now know with six or seven spots where they will pick in next April's draft. With their 8-7 record currently, if the Vikings lose Sunday, the best draft position they could earn would be No. 15. With a win, they could fall back no further than No. 21.

A loss to the Bears wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, if it actually made the difference in drafting 6 spots ahead.
It more than likely doesn't really concern that many spots ... We likely don't fall that far because we would need teams like Dallas to lose to fall all the way to No. 21 and we likely don't get all the way to 15 unless we lose and some other teams win, the likely difference in our pick will be No. 16 or 17 with a loss and No. 18 or 19 with a win ... I would rather win and be professional than throw it and chase two or three picks higher ...

Hey, one of them is in the playoffs and one of them is not ... If getting the 15th pick and a better player means we miss the playoffs, give me the 21st and a project any day of the week.

Who said we will have to throw it? Bears are a good team.. Even with thier back ups playing I bet thier system would be tough to beat

Dang, no doubt about it that I want them to win. Both positions suck anyways.
