I think it's cheating the spirit of the game to lose on purpose. It would be a perfect example of the deterioration of the game. It's a privilage to play in the NFL to get paid what they get paid by us the fans.
I would be utterly pissed off if they did that.

I agree. Go out and play to win. But not in the same sense they have teken the past two weeks. REALLY play to win. Get a little nuts with the play calling and take some chances to see what the Vikes can really do unleashed. Not a time to be conservative. If we win and blow a few spots in the draft, so what. Unless you are picking 1 or 2 it is all the same. And many great players are taken in later rounds anyway.IMO it isn't the draft that will fill the holes on this team. It will be FA where we will get the guys we need next year. Mainly a RB. I actually think the O line will be pretty good with the return of Birk and the addition of Fonoti. Most of the time I feel the draft is over rated in terms of its immediate impact on a team. Occasionally a rookie comes along that can start and make a difference but that is really rare. A lot of the great players weren't taken in the first round. Mostly the draft is a crap shoot.
I just want to see the Vikes play unleashed. So tired of being conservative.

I say lose...Because if we win and we bump down to 21st and the player we have been wanting is gone at number 17....that would suck!

Sorry, I hate to say but, you play the game to win.....Not to lose to get a better draft pic.....Besides, there won't be that much difference between 15 and 21 talent wise.........

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

If we play our back ups and rookies and lose I won't be too upset with that.. Personally I want a better draft pick cuz Deangelo Williams might be in the 15 range.. No way will he be there 21st though..
But if play our starters alot I would like to see a win to end the season

Winning is what it's about, but losing is not always the worst thing in the world... and.. too many of these contradictions give me a headache.

who wants to lose, do you go to a card game to lose, you have got to try and get the win, would be a good beginning for next year, especially if bears go far in the playoffs .
