The NFL does not randomly pic the schedules. We play our Division (of course), then our Division rotates through the AFC Divsions, then we play the 2nd place teams in the NFC East (Giants) and the NFC West (St. Louis). Green Bay palys the 1st place teams. Then the teams out of the NCF South. They have their formula.

Spirit, I will be there for sure! Kinda mad that we play Cleve and Pitt at home because I am in Cleve. Maybe we can tailgate! :salute:

Well this year we played them because the whole NFC East was on our schedule. Next year we will play them because we both finished second in our division. The NFL doesn't try to have us play each other, it just keeps working out that way because of how the schedule rotates and how teams finish.

Why is everyone so scared. SO t hey won a few games agianst us in a roll. Eventually we will win and possibly kick their ass one day. IT could be used as a motivation stick to get back at these F***ers.

Looking foward to it. SOmeday soon, their winning streak against us gotta end sometime soon. COuld be sooner if we have a new coach that can get us to win on grass sometimes soon.

Uhhhh, yeah. I'm not exactly thrilled to see the giants on our schedule AGAIN.

What the hell? Why do we get stuck with those bastards again?

Plus we played Atlanta 2 years ago in the regular season and we had them in the preseason this year. Why do get them 3 years in a row?
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Once again, the NFL has a formula. The formula is the same for every team and depends on where you finish in your Division. It just happens that the Giants finsished in 2nd, just like us.

Right. The formula is for 2005

Home and away against all division opponents.
Game against each team in the NFC South
Game against each team in the AFC North
2nd place finisher in NFC North (Vikes) plays 2nd place finisher in NFC East (Giants) and NFC West (Rams)

This season was the same, except we played all the teams in the NFC East and AFC South. Last year (2003), we played all the teams in the NFC West and AFC West. In 2006, it will be the NFC West and AFC East.
    SKOL VIKINGS!
