2000?
After 9 games, Adrian Peterson leads the league in rushing with 1015 yards. With 7 games left, it is not impossible to think that he can get to that crazy mark of 2000 rushing yards in one season. He needs 985 yards to get to that mark. Factoring in the needed yardage, and the games left to be played, AP would need to average 140.7 yards per game. Although that seems out of reach, he could reach that mark if he has a game like he did today, or one like he did against San Diego last year. I think it will come down to the Lions game. That will make or break his quest to 2000. What do you think? Will 2008 be the year he hits that 2000 yard mark? Discuss

Re: 2000?
You gotta look at durability and the fact that at least one of these teams will shutdown our run game.
