You have rebuked what Birk has stated on more than one occasion. After work, the newshound will do a little thread dredging.

What about the impact with respect to OL continuity, Film study with your QB with respect to all the times you guys screwed the pooch on blitz recognition, help you could have given your potential successor, etc etc etc.

It's pretty simple Marr. Birk claimed that he & Childress get along. You used the quote to back up your statement against others who have said that Birk & Childress do not get along.
I then used your own cookie cutter statement, "Chiller Speak, much like Denny Speak, should be taken with a certain amount of skepticism.", against you.
You use that statement quite frequently here when a player or a coach addresses the media, meaning we are not to believe everything they say. Some are coached by the FO as to what to say.
However, in this case, you fired back & said Birk is the exception to that rule. Meaning Birk says it like it is, good bad or indifferent & that you have no reason to doubt him because that is his nature.
If that is your claim, why is it you are rather "selective" as to when you doubt what he states?
You didn't doubt him on the comment he made that he & Childress get along (Because Birk says it like it is)
Yet you rebuke his quote here & have rebuked it other times as well in the past .
I've got to find that quote of Birk's where he praised a player & you came back & claimed he was "instructed" as to what to say, rather than say something negative."I might have to study a little bit more right now, but I think I'm caught up," he said. "But that's not to say that I don't think those are important, but I'm not just a football player. I'm a father. I'm a husband. Yes, Birk does say what's on his mind & I also think it is one of those cases.
My initial post was "sarcastic in nature" since you used the "players are coached what to say..."
in a previous thread, where he praised a player, you did not agree with it, I stated he would not say it if he didn't honestly believe it & you & I went round & round on it.
I believe it was the time of the Jackson benching, when Birk said TJ would be fine & he had his support & that he had confidence in him.
