but it did set-up a 2nd and 42 (or something) that was just about the funniest looking thing when fox put its little "1st down" line graffic in.

Wow haven't heard that name for a long time!

Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?

Re: Taylors offencive pass interference call

The way it appeared in the replay, it was interference.

Whenever the WR has his hands extended like that on a DB and the DB is falling forward, the will call it.

It gets called all the time. The only way a WR can get away with having his hands on the DB is when they are close. When the WR lifts his hands/arms he gives a nudge on the DB.

Taylor may have been just feeling for position to see where the DB was cause they were both looking at the ball. But, if he extends his arms, it will appear as a push. One guy was moving backwards and one guy as moving forwards. Hard to argue.

He has to use his body to get position instead of his hands.

I do agree with the poster that said that we should have had a TD on that series, to K-Rob that is. It was underthrown. K-Rob had to break stride. If he would have been able to stay in stride, he would have scored.

They wouldn't have, and didn't call offensivve on shockey and plax all day, even though they clearly push off on every route they run.

I think it's bullshiit, and they should have called it fairly.

Almost every penalty was on the vikes, and the giants committed the same ones.

Yeah, he pushed off on that one from watching it live anyway. The only problem I had with the call was that it wasn't made by the ref standing right there, but the one from twenty yards down the field, that was ridiculous.

That was one of those plays that doesn't get called 8 out of 10 times, but since we were in N.Y., it was called.

    No big thing!
I used to be indecisive, now I m not so sure!

I feckin lost it when they made that call. I was throwning all sorts of shiat and spilled about 500 airsoft gun bb's in the process. I lose it when refs make that big of a call that nearly cost us game. Where were these refs at the time of the infamous push off that cost us a superbowl. feck refs

I have it on DVD and have watched it dozens of times.

As much as I would like to think we got screwed...it was the right call. Not only that, but it was pretty obvious.

When I get a chance I may post the clip here.
