    16 Viking's Free Agents

    16 Viking's Free Agents

Sorry for not posting the article, but I recently learned the copyright details from singersp, and would like to thank him...

This is very interesting and I think we shall resign b-will and krob for sure..
As for Edinger and Cowart, depending on what their asking and who we can get in FA, we shall see their fate later...

    Anyone else we shall keep?

Offord was playing well before he got hurt I'd like to see him back next year.

Toniu Fonoti, I'd like to see him back and in shape and Fowler might add some depth and we could say good bye to Withrow.

Keith Newman is coming into his own and needs to stay as well

Chavous: Consistent starter in my opinion, would like to see him back.

Edinger: 71.9% FG success rate doesn't cut it for me regardless of the two game-winning FGs. A kicker has one fucking job, I hate when they don't do it properly.

Johnstone: Good back up, depends how much he asks for.

Cowart: Good player but it's EJ time. Don't sign Cowart.

Koren Robinson: Most definitely. It would really piss me off if we didn't get him back next season since we're the ones who took a chance by signing him this season. All of a sudden other teams see that he's good and they'll want to sigh him too, fuck.

Brian Williams: No point in having 3 starter quality CBs. Either trade Smoot or don't sign Williams. In my opinion, the second option is the better one since Smoot has more potential in the future.

Bennett: Depends if we plan on looking for an elite back later on this offseason.

"I have given it some thought that this could be my last game with the Vikings," said strong safety Corey Chavous, who will make his 75th consecutive regular-season start. "My mom and sister are coming, and I want this game to be special. And whatever happens, I want the fans to know it's been an honor to wear the purple and gold."

Nooooo! Corey please stay. Don't leave yet, you got a couple more years. I really hope he isn't done.

So, if he does, that would mean you'd have to change your name then, ha.

Corey Chavous, is definately sounding like he has already made up his mind....man that really sucks I was really hoping to see him back next year.

"It's definitely an emotional time for myself and others," Bennett said. "I don't want to look at it as like my last day as a Viking ... but if it is then I just have to deal with it."

Bennett said he'll probably take extra time walking off the field on Sunday "just kind of soaking it all in."

"Being here five years, I just wish I can go out in the stands and pretty much just shake everybody's hand and just thank them for their support and just continue on," Bennett said. "Like I say, it's definitely going to be tough."
that is almost enough for me to want to bring him back....no wait that was just the sentimental side of me. Sorry MB as touching as that was you still have to go :???:
