119 straight sell outs???
Was at the pack/vikes game and saw the vikings have 119 straight sell outs. My question is, are there always that many road fans to fill the seats or do corporations buy all the remaining seats to prevent the blackouts?

Re: 119 straight sell outs???
That was actually a smaller Packer contingent than normal. The dome usually sells out no problem. Last year was tough with the economy and our lack of a good QB, we needed help selling out 1 or 2 games.
We do appreciate your support though, Favre does too.

Favre is the man, he will be the difference between a 8-8 vikings team and a 12-4 vikings team

We finished 10-6 last year without Harvin...Should have been able to at least match that without Favre.
14 W's may be a bit optimistic, but it is definitely looking possible.

Re: 119 straight sell outs???
There were far less Packers fans in the house than usual.
I think maybe a lot of them decided purple looked better than yellow, and converted.
Like you, maybe????“What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. It’s the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Yes and no... There have indeed been 119 sellouts, dating back tot he last game of the 1997 season. The whole "Sell out Streak" is a sham.
However, four times we had to have a local company buy out the last remaining group of tickets.
In the end, all of the tickets needed were sold and used.
But, I know what you are getting at.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?
