That Philly O-Line is horrible. Plain and simple.

How so?
Was it his 46% pass completion that you felt was better than Vick's 59%?
Was it his 204 passing yards that you felt was better than Vick's 241 avg.?
Was it his 0 passing TD's/game that you felt was better than Vick's 1.2/game?
Was it his 2 INT's/game that you felt was better than Vick's 1/game?
or was it his 40.5 QB rating that you felt was better than Vick's 79.2?
I know! It must have been his 3 fumbles compared to Vick's 1.1.
Even if you include his numbers from the games he didn't start in, he still didn't do better than Vick in any of those categories. They'd be 55%, 211 yds, 0.5 TD's, 1.5 INT's, 58.9 QB rating & 2 fumbles respectively.Last edited by singersp; 11-19-2012 at 05:39 AM.

A little bit, yeah... tbh stirring the pot mostly.
However. For arguments sake:
Foles: Sub-60% passing
Vick's career: Sub-60% passing
Foles: 204 yards
Vick's average per start: 196.83 yards per start (and that's generous. I'm including ALL yards he's ever thrown divided by ONLY starts)
Foles: More INT than TD
Vick: More INT than TD on career.
Obviously Foles' ratios are worse. He didn't play well, that much is painfully obvious. The FACT is Vick has a history of inept QB play.

No I don't think Vick is the answer here. We should have drafted Kaepernick. He looked pretty good last night. I liked him coming out and he threw the ball well last nite and was very decisive. Kaepernick, 49ers whip Bears 32-7.

Despite the fact you completely ignored my post proving you were wrong, here's more.
You're far from being generous taking his total yards & dividing by ONLY starts.
1. There weren't that many yards thrown in games he didn't start in.
2. You included STARTS in which he was listed as a starter, yet never threw a pass in the game or played it's entirety.
3. You included STARTS in which he never completed a full game or even a half or a full quarter in your average.
Hell, just last week he got knocked out of the game after throwing 4 passes for 6 yards. But you GENEROUSLY included that start when you divided his total yards by ONLY starts. LOL!
On career, Vick has 122 passing TD's to 81 INT's, not to mention he has an additional 34 rushing TD's to Fole's 0. That's a 1.5 to 1 ratio, close to Favre's. Ponder is at 1.19 to 1. Foles is at 0.33 to 1.

I think having Vick at QB... in a manager role would make us a playoff caliber team.
The guy has had to carry teams in the past. Imagine if he is just asked to pick holes when he can. No need to make every play just gain a few yards on bootlegs to keep defenses from giving Peterson 8 and 9 man fronts. Harvin would flourish as he his bread an butter player... playaction bootleg to the across formation slide would be even more open.
The issue with Vick is Salary & Injury history. He never plays 16 games and he can't stay healthy.
In this division your QB needs to play 16 games to have a chance.
