Which WR should I start w/ Larry Fitzgerald?
Well, we had our draft tonight and these are the receivers I ended up with.
My league is pretty liberal w/ the points, giving a WR a point for every 35 yards receiving and I believe one for every 5 catches.
It is 6 points for a TD.
Please bring something to the table that will convince me to start the player you vote for.
Thanks for any time you take in considering this poll.Rock out with your cock out!!!

Re: Which WR should I start w/ Larry Fitzgerald?
First off you should look at who those teams are facing.
Second. I wouldn't start Furry unless I had to. He's only no. 3 now after they brought in CJ
Vincent Jackson could become great, and that sure is a potent offense. But I would still probably start Andre Johnson. Out of the 3 he is clearly the most skilled, and he's a consensus no. 1 on his team. You just have to look at how good their new QB plays early on
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Andre Johnson in a landslide.
He should put up over 10 td's.
Remember that game he had against us a couple of years ago.
Looked like Jerry Rice born again.

Furrey is still listed as the starter on the Lions depth-chart opposite Roy Williams.
There will be enough balls in that offense for all 3 of them - do not doubt that.
Prediction:
Furrey scores more fantasy points in the PPO league than any Vikings WR.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I know he is still listet like that. But I still think he'll only be the 3rd most targeted man on that team."cogitans" wrote:

And I think you're prediction is wrong. CJ will be the big redzone target

Seriously I would go with AJ. He is the #1 WR for Houston. He should do well but you also have to look at the match ups as well. If houston has a tough matchup then looking at another option may be a cbetter choice. just my opinion though.

Seems like a non issue. Start Andre Johnson. And wait-and-see with the other two.

Re: Which WR should I start w/ Larry Fitzgerald?
If you're talking week 1, I say start Mike Furrey, for these reasons:
1. As talented as CJ is, he's still a rookie receiver, and it's unrealistic to think he's going to immediately step in and light it up... there's only one rookie WR I know that's done that, and his name rhymes with Shmandy Hoss.
2. New QB in Houston, leading what was a terrible offense last year.
Add that their 2nd receiver is some guy named Kevin Walter, they have no running game and one of the worst O-lines in football, Johnson will get nothing but double-teams, and rightfully so.
3. San Diego plays Chicago in week 1, and while Vincent Jackson may be the #1 receiver in SD, he's still only the 3rd option.
Don't like his chances of seeing anything more than 3 catches and 40 yards or so on week 1.
I'd say re-evaluate past week 5 or so, but for now I'd start Furrey.
The guy had 98 catches last year!
He's got great chemistry with Kitna and he's a big part of a "throw-all-the-time" offense.
Don't let the addition of CJ scare you off.

Furrey would the best choice for now.
