Re: Top-Five Reasons Why Adrian Peterson Should Be Your No. 1 Pick

i tend to always avoid vikings and players in our division. i end up cursing the viking players and cheering against my players because their divisional team needs to lose to help the vikings.

    just remember:
    vikings > fantasy team
    We're bringing purple back.

    And?

    He's frigging Adrian Peterson.
He got great numbers last year splitting it with CT plus he'll be getting more balls in the red-zone
LT and Westbrook dont split carries, and have better hands than AD
Westbrook is very injury prone... people say Peterson is, has Westbrook played all 16 games in a season yet? I think he done only once (don't quote me on that). Ill go look it up.
not many RBs play all 16 games my friend,, Westbrook's injuries havent been as serious as AD's if i recall correctly

I have to question how much longer LT is going to play at the level he has.
He has a lot of seasons under his belt already for a RB.
My guess is he has at least one more solid year so I'd still probably take him first.

With most players I would agree, 7 years is a long time for a back, but the truly great players don't always follow the norms. LT is a great player.
After 7 years he is 3rd all time for rushing TDS at 114. Emmitt smith is first with 164tds in 15 seasons. Marcus Allen is in 2nd with 123 in 16 seasons. Tomlinson is going to rewrite the record books.
    Total TDS
    1 Jerry Rice 207-20 seasons
    2 Emmitt Smith 175 -15 seasons
    3 Marcus Allen 144 -16 seasons
    4 Marshall Faulk 136 -12 seasons
    5 TERRELL OWENS 131 - 12 seasons
    6 Cris Carter 130 - 16 seasons
    7 LADAINIAN TOMLINSON 129- 7 seasons

    AP
is without doubt, on his way to being the best RB in the NFL today.
He may even be one of the best that the game has ever seen.

But when it comes to FF, I was lucky enough to get the #2 pick slot for my div.
    I'll just say this,
who ever picks before me, in that number one slot, please
take AP...I'll be more than happy to pick at #2 at that point.

As much as I love AP:

People forget that there is a difference between:

    - A runner
    - A running back

A runner carries the ball. Period. A running back carries, blocks, and catches passes. As far as I have seen, AP is the most devastating runner in the NFL. Period. End of story.

But Tomlinson is the best overall running back in the NFL, because he does it all.

Sorry, Vikes, but it is just true.

Nope. The most he has played is 15.
