In the end, Peterson is still going to split some carries with Taylor. LT and Westbrook will not.

    And?

    He's frigging Adrian Peterson.
He got great numbers last year splitting it with CT plus he'll be getting more balls in the red-zone

LT and Westbrook dont split carries, and have better hands than AD

Westbrook is very injury prone... people say Peterson is, has Westbrook played all 16 games in a season yet? I think he done only once (don't quote me on that). Ill go look it up.

I would still take LT over AD and might, just might, take Westbrook over AD and LT as well.

Again, lets not forget that when you take a player in FF you aren't taking him because he is your favorite or because he is on a good team.
You are taking him because you expect him to be the focal point of that team and put up big numbers....

My case for Westbrook, as with LT, is that he is the focal point for a offense in the running game and especially the passing game. My guess is that will remain the same this year and he isn't splitting duties with anybody.

3rd in rushing stats and the only RB you see in the top 40 in recieving.

Again, it all comes down to points.
Only detractor that would cause me to hesistate is his lack of TD's but if you are in a league that counts catches as well as yards he is right up there.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

I would still take LT, based on the fact that he can do everything.
He is the focal point of their offense, but they do have a respectable passing game to take some pressure off of him.
who knows, 2 years from now, if Chester Taylor leaves, AD could have his best season ever.
I'm excited to see how his career turns out, but I dont' see it happening next year.

    Let's look at the numbers

    LT

    AD

    BW
    2001

    1603yds, 10td

    0yds,0td

    0yds,0td
    2002

    2172yds, 15td

    0yds,0td

    304yds,1td
    2003

    2391yds, 18td

    0yds,0td

    945yds,13td
    2004

    1814yds, 18td

    0yds,0td

    1515yds,10td
    2005

    1879yds, 23td

    0yds,0td

    1233yds, 7td
    2006

    2343yds, 33td

    0yds,0td

    1916yds,11td
    2007

    1966yds, 19td

    1609yds,13td
    2104yds,12td
    total

    14168yds, 136td

    1609yds, 13td
    8017yds, 54td

Personally I'd take LT first, without question. After that I think it would be AD for me. I expect his numbers to improve in 08.
One thing I worry about with Westbrook is his quarterback. McNabb has been injured a few times and I'm not sure who the back up is but figure that could hurt westbrooks production because the Defense will focus on him.
