Minnesota Vikings -Tarvaris Jackson might be the worst fantasy starting quarterback in the NFL.
No receivers, no tight ends and two monster running backs.
Whatever you do, don't draft Tarvaris Jackson for your fantasy team.
Having said that, I don't think Jackson will be replaced either.
Why?
The only replacements are Brooks Bollinger and somebody named Tyler Thigpen.
The Vikes have too much invested in Jackson to pull him for one of those guys.
The only reason I list him here is if a veteran gets cut during camp (Joey Harrington? Kelly Holcomb?) and things go badly the Vikes may decide to give Jackson a "rest" before he becomes emotionally scarred.

i cant disagree lol. unproven and with no real weopons and a unbelivble rushing tandem. im afraid we will only be passing out of necesity

I mean come on. We all know Tarvaris isnt gonna be the greatest QB known to man, but hes not going to be the worst ever!

yes, but none of those players are starting in the nfl, so therefore TJ could very well be the worst

He will most likely be the worst this year.

1.
He is unproven
2.
His receivers have yet to accomplish anything
3.
We have 2 great RB's and a great line to run with
4.
Childress offense is conservative

Like his ranking should come as a shock to any of us?

I'll take Tarvaris over players like Charlie Frye and Brodie Croyle, hell, even over Matt "I started 3 games in the NFL" Shaub.

Then I probably shouldnt have taken him with the 3rd pick in my fantasy league. I thought when I made that pick as myself being Brad Childress. That I knew he's going to be great but no one could see it. He was a diamond in the rough. That i was smarter then everyone else. Dont worry. He'll put up as big numbers as Manning did in 02'.
