Not necessarily - it's an 8-team league.Way to go Singer.
You should be pretty competitive with that roster.

Everyone has a loaded roster in an 8-team league.

Re: Singer's 1st fantasy football draft picks ever - How did I do?
Eight teams to ten is a huge difference down the line...But, it is funny how in most leagues, everyone's draft looks good before the season starts

Manning in the 2nd looks good, and Rivers is a great backup if Indy's new LT falters...Looks like a great WR core, Winslow should be good at TE, you can always get another Defense or Kicker off the waiver wire if you don't like how things are working out, so no worries there (2 years ago I grabbed Indy between week 1 and 2 and they turned into a top 5 FFL defense).
Your toughest position will be RB (Jamal Lewis is a Cleveland Brown now...) where there is a ton of potential, but it may be hard to pick who is going to have the best week, each week.
Parker is a starter unless he gets hurt.
CLE will try to run Lewis, the big question is how their OLINE comes together.
Our boys and Taylor are committee members, and will likely flip-flop some as to who gets the points each week.
All in all, a good looking team.
And, you may be able to trade Rivers for a quality RB, depending on how things look after week 6, Peyton's bye week.Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

I was at the Bills/Texans game last year, and Evans and Losman put on a show.
OK it was against the Texans, but it was a great outing.

Save that pick for later rounds.
I think that Singer did alright.
It is how they play on a weekly basis that counts. I remember one year in our friends league, this girl had the highest points total in the league and on paper, she had the best team.
Problem was that she only had a .500 record because when she went head to head every week, inferior teams were out scoring her.
It was the weirdest thing ever.
It was freakish.

Excellent, Manning is tops and Rivers is worth more than people give him credit for.
He is in a well balanced offense.
Plus LT will run a few of those passes for TDs.
Rivers is trade bait if you want to gamble on Manning being health all season, which he usually is.
RBs:
You have 3 full time backs.
I passed on Taylor in my league AGAIN, then I watch him run last night and I am like, WTF is up with this old guy.
People have been counting him out and under estimating him for 7 years or more.
Ya, he has had his share of injuries but when he is in the game, he leaves it all on the field.
With Lewis, we have to question the new surroundings in Brownsville. Will he have blocks and will the offense be able to stay on the field. He should get lots of carries to help ease the rookie QB.
Parker should be solid.
Now, with our beloved Purple and Gold guys.
They both have talent and hopefully one of them will amass most of the carries. Hopefully it will become evident who will get most of those carries.
It is scary for FF owners to not know or to have to split carries.
IMHO, I think that if AP proves he can pass protect at CTs level and has a command of the offense, he will be the starter by week 4-6, if not sooner.
He is by far more physically talented than CT.
It comes down to if he can make less mistakes on blocking.
WRs:
You have 3 guys that are the No 1 WR on their respective teams. TO, should score many TDs. Coles is consistant. Evans is a stud IMHO.
TEs:
Winslow should see some footballs his way.
If it is Quinn at QB he can be assured and rely upon the quick Winslow to get open on LB coverage.
Winslow should be a nice target.
Who cares about the Bears dude. LOL!
K and Def ?
Easily replaced if need be.
Dolphins and Gould should be decent.
