Football fans like to refer to guys who can go the distance on any down as home run hitters. In that case, call Percy Harvin the sultan of such players. Harvin proved at the University of Florida that he can be effective in any formation, and he makes his teammates better simply because defenses must account for where Harvin is at all times. And Harvin's 4.41 40-yard time at the combine does not do justice to how quick and elusive he can be with a full set of pads on. A reported positive marijuana test turned off a few NFL teams at April's NFL Draft, but Minnesota, in need of weapons to complement all-world running back Adrian Peterson, snagged Harvin with the 22nd pick of round one.

IDK, i would love to pick him up late and see how he does the first couple games, how many touches, etc.
he could be a surprise performer, worthy of popping up into starter position midway.

And what an excellent thread it was.

If Harvin is still on the boards in the last rounds he might be worth a pickup - if you can afford to gamble...I guess it would depend on how the draft had went at that point.

If you have te space to keep him on your bench why not?
He is worth a late round pick up IMHO.
It all depends how Many WR yuo are allowed to start. IF you have to start 3 and you can get by with a 5th WR then why not, especially if you have a 4th with as a semi decent bye week/Play if a right match-up type of player then why not?

I think by "start" they mean 2 starters and no flex.
And they are correct - don't start Harvin.....yet.
