Thomas Jones and Ray Rice would be my picks for ya........
Standard league?
PPR?
What type of league?
I am not sure about Rice yet, I think with Flacco, they are opening up their passing game more(which is not saying much) and he still slpits carries.
Thomas Jones may be your best bet as one starter.
I like The Match-up NO Vs. Detroit but it is still Reggie Bush. Thomas isn't getting alot of hype for nothing, but if it is a PPR league He would
get the nod IMHO.
Johnson has a tough D but they gotta Run the ball, and you still have Fatdale White that will get the tough Yardage and some TD's So Not sure I would go with him. I am actually benching him in my money league
for belive it or not Chester Taylor
Slaoton is a RB that I really like and kind of gets lost in the mix. I have seen him drafted and ranked as high as teh first round down to the 3-4th.
But I would give him the nod over Bush this week
I'd start Slaton, Jets D wasn't good enough last year to justify sitting one of your studs.
The Steeler's D is thoug IMO
Id go Slaton and Bush on this one.
Slaton and Jones would be the best combo in my mind.
Does it help that everyone is giving you a different answer? :P
Go with your first two picks among those guys.
That's why you took them first isn't it?
I wouldn't start toying with your lineup and playing matchups until guys start to separate themselves from each other.
The whole lineup shuffling due to matchups plan bit me for like 3 years before I figured out I should just stick to my guns unless someone gives me a reason not to, and I've won leagues in each of the last two years.
Thomas Jones and Ray Rice.
KC is weak at LB, they gave up 160 rushing yards per game last season. Rice should play well, yes I'm a homer, but I can't tell someone to start a RB against the Jets defense this year. Keep in mind they're running Rex Ryan's 46 defense now with very good players at the key positions. Chris Jenkins at the nose, Bart Scott at the mike, David Harris at the will, Gholston in that ROLB pass rush role that Suggs played so well(Gholston should be pretty nasty there, being so freakishly athletic and all) and Kerry Rhodes at FS, Jim Leonhard at SS, plus Revis and Shepard at the corners... they're gonna be a damn good defense this season.
DeMeco Ryans is the only player on Houston who makes any tackles beyond the LoS, I think
Thomas Jones is the obvious choice here, the other one is debatable, but I'd go with Rice.
Always start the best players. Go with Slaton for sure. Then flip a coin for the other one.

Slaton is the best back there; hard to sit him.
I'd go slaton and Bush if PPC, Slaton and Rice if not.
I think Jones is going to get you some good points one way or another.
Look at your match-up.
If you're playing somebody where you just need a good outing to win, start Jones over Bush.
If you kinda need that home run potential, go with Bush.
