Question about IDP leagues?

This year I joined my brother in laws FF league. They pick defensive players in this one. My question is in what round do you go for a defensive player. I mean I don't want to pick one up too early. Patrick willis was a stud last year I was wondering if anyone knew when he might go so I can klinda get an idea when I should start looking to pick up defensive players. Thanks.

look at the projected points for this year, and find out where the points drop off for the offensive players..thats where u can start on the defensive players..it all depends on how the league scoring is set up.
