The proper Purple pride fantasy league, Whens that starting?

Hey, This is mainly for Webby and/or who ever else ran that league of MFL.com

Just wondering if we are doing that again? and if so whens it starting and all

I went un defeated all season then lost in the final i think, Happened to me in another league last year.... Damm Larry Johnson!

I think we should set up that league a bit different..

6 Divsions of 8 was a bit silly i thought if you really want to get a fair result. Some of those divsions will have weaker players and if your in a draft thats 8 picks a round with half of the picks being wrong someones going to get an all star roster and could beat a manager who came from a better divsion with a worst team who is actually a better Manager. Anyway i just think 4 Divsions of 12 is the best way to go, 10 is low and 12s fine..

Even 2 divsions of 12 that contain the best 24 players from last seasons League because if i remember right there was a big group of rookies and then some who were actually serious and some who werent at all active. I had trades posted to people for 3 weeks sometimes before i got answers.

Anyway my suggestion is 2 leagues, each with 2 divsions in each. Take the top 24 and the bottom 24 and have a promotion relegation system each year between the 2 leagues. Also i think some changes in the scoring and postion catogaories would make it even better.

Anyway these are just some of my suggestions from being a comish in past fantasy leagues.

Also, if anyones starting any leagues or anything im keen to join, i have a rule each year to only join 5 leagues, right now im at 3 so if anyones got any offers that would be sweet

uh...? a competitive league and a rookie league would be cool... put me in the rookie league so i can win more games... i think i was above 500 last year and missed the playoffs.

Last year we in my fantasy league, we had an auction (forget the formal name of the auction). It was really fun, and the best way to do it. This way it is possible to have both manning and larry johnson, while just a normal draft this would be nearly impossible.

We have the list of names of those who wanted in and then bailed by failing to fill out their lineups and royally screwing others over.

As far as I know, they will not be allowed to play again this year.

Count me in.. I was serious about it and sent PM's to Webby about it before the thing ever started and didn't even get in..

I hope Webby lets me in this year

You are one of the guys that was screwed over. Some members wanted in and got in, but then did nothing.

I would imagine you will be a go.

I typically don't like to be in more than 1 FF league - I'm Commish in one league which I've been running since 2001.

But I'd definitely like to get in on this sort of league with the PP.O contingent! Don't worry Ultra, I always fill out my lineups!
