(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Sep 15, 2009) In a week 1 Purplepride.org Fantasy Football intra-divisional rivalry, Big Booty Lovers squeaked by a tough Scumbags team by a score of 120 to 119, behind the support of 66,584 faithful fans.

Big Booty Lovers were led to their 1 point victory by a 26 point effort from Randy Moss, who beat the Buffalo Bills defense for 141 receiving yards. With this performance, Moss was the number 3 ranked wide receiver for week 1. They also got help from a 21 point effort from Joseph Addai, who snuck past the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 42 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 35 receiving yards.

"This team shows a lot of character," Big Booty Lovers coach marstc09 said.

Scumbags were helped out in a losing cause by a 27 point effort from John Carlson, who got by the St. Louis Rams defense for 95 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Carlson was the number 1 ranked tight end for week 1. They also got help from a 18 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who snuck past the Carolina Panthers defense for 79 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 27 rushing yards.

"We dug ourselves a deep hole," Scumbags coach MaxVike said.

Compounding the issue, Scumbags could have scored 140 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but MaxVike left key players like Cedric Benson and his corresponding 24 points on the bench.

Scumbags drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 32 out of 46 other potential opponents in week 1.

This brings the record for Big Booty Lovers to 1-0, and drops Scumbags to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, the 1-0 Marrdro's Team (Without Asterisk) are at Scumbags, where Scumbags are an early 54-point favorite, while Big Booty Lovers are at the 1-0 Cross Lake Wolves, where Cross Lake Wolves are an early 41.0-point underdog.
