    PPO FFL Championship!

It's me (Scurvy Dogs) vs GarlandGreene (My Big Nuts).
I'm going for my second PPO FFL title.

I'm planning on taking a big gamble with the title on the line, though I am subject to changing my mind.
I'm planning on sitting starting QB Tony Romo (who faces the Baltimore Ravens) and starting newly signed FA Matt Schaub, who will be on the road vs. the Raiders.
The big gamble here is that the Raiders run defense is so porous, Schaub might not have to throw the ball much.

Since I don't feel releasing my starting lineup will give my opponent that much of a competitive edge (and I've been known to swap players in at the last minute), here's who I'm planning on going with:

    QB
    Matt Schaub (@ OAK)
    RB
    Thomas Jones (@ SEA)
    RB
    Sammy Morris (vs AZ)
    WR Greg Jennings (@ CHI)
    WR Brandon Marshall (vs. BUF)
    TE
    Dallas Clark (@ JAX)
    K
    Rob Bironas (vs PIT)
    D
    Philadelphia (@ WAS)

    TB Tony Romo (vs BAL)

    BENCH

    RB
    Kevin Faulk
    RB
    Joseph Addai
    WR
    TJ Houshmanzahdeh
    WR
    Marvin Harrison
    WR
    Deion Branch
    TE
    Tony Scheffler
    D

    Chicago

Anyone got any comments/criticisms/recommendations regarding my starting lineup?

    Maybe for the Toilet Bowl.
Nobody whose roster includes Thomas Tapeh, Robert Ferguson, and Mark Brunell should be in the finals for anything.

    Re: PPO FFL Championship!

Late lineup changes for the Scurvy Dogs...

In a move that will probably cost me the title, I'm pulling WR Greg Jennings out of my starting lineup and replacing him with Deion Branch.
There are two reasons for this.
First, the weather in Chicago will be COLD...right now they are calling for a high of 8 and a low down to -3.
But the biggest reason I'm replacing Jennings is because in my work fantasy league (we play for small $), my opponent this week in the playoffs is starting both Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings.
And I don't want to put myself in the position of rooting for Jennings to score on Monday night to help my Purplepride FFL team, knowing that at Jennings TD will mean 12 points to my work FFL opponent (6 for Rodgers TD pass, 6 for Jennings TD catch).
Now, if the Vikings lose to Atlanta on Sunday, I'm happy to cheer for Rodgers and Jennings if it will mean a Vikings division title, and money be damned!
And at least Seattle and Branch are playing at home against a Jets team that has surrendered more TD passes than the Bears have.

I've also swapped out Sammy Morris for Kevin Faulk.
I'm starting Morris in my work FFL, so if Morris tanks completely I'll suffer in both leagues.
Because of the "point per reception" rules in our league, Faulk figures to have a similar day at least catching the ball against a porous Cardinals defense....should rack up at least 5 catches and 50 yards, anything above that will be gravy.

Dallas Clark came through Thursday night with a big game.
A 24 point game from your TE is always a good start!
