Peterson !

I think that there should be a "warning" issued on AP for Fantasy:

- Despite the 1300 yards rushing, the final four games of 2007: Peterson was bottled up. The pre-season 2008: so far, no big runs.

This should be a major concern in fantasy. AP has been contained in about 7 straight games. I really hate to say this, because I love the guy as a Vikings fan, but I think he could be a disappointment in 2008 !

You forgot about the pro bowl, he won MVP and had over 100 yards rushing!

My friend and I were talkin about this too. I don't think he will have a great season. But if we get a decent passing game I can see him push 1400 yards and 10 tds

How is this thread any different than the other Peterson tread you just started bitching about no big runs in preseason.
Seriously go back and look at the big runs that AD had last year.
How many of them came in the first 15 carries?

Are you really worried about fantasy numbers and AD instead of the team winning?
Go back and watch the game with a minds eye on the strategy that the staff was employing.
Getting AD huge runs would have been a blessing but thier intent was to pound the ball in the middle to set up stuff that would've come later if the starters would have played a full game.

Seriously, fantasy numbers?
